Third Express Entry draw of the week issues 4,500 invitations
Canada’s immigration department, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), has held another Express Entry draw.
In this round, 4,500 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were sent out to candidates with strong French-language proficiency. To be considered, applicants needed:
- A Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of at least 446, and
- An Express Entry profile submitted before June 16, 2025, at 7:21 a.m. (UTC).

This is the third Express Entry draw conducted in both the week and the month. It comes after a Canadian Experience Class (CEC) draw on September 3, a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw on September 2, and a category-based selection targeting healthcare and social services professionals on August 19.
With this latest round, the total number of ITAs issued by IRCC through Express Entry in 2025 has reached 62,109. Most draws this year have been dedicated to PNP applicants, while the remaining invitations have gone to CEC candidates, French-speaking applicants, and those working in priority occupations outlined by Express Entry.
