Canada has introduced higher fees for several immigration applications, with the new rates officially taking effect on December 1, 2025.
This update impacts two main areas:
Applicants who submitted and paid online before December 1 will not be affected. However, those who submitted paper applications may still be asked to pay the difference once their files are received by IRCC, due to processing delays.
