PNP Candidates Receive Invitations in IRCC’s First Express Entry Draw of September
Canada’s immigration department, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), has conducted a new Express Entry draw, inviting candidates through the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).
In this round, 249 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were issued. To qualify, candidates were required to:
- Hold a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 772, and
- Have created their Express Entry profile before August 28, 2025, at 7:19 p.m. (UTC).

This draw marks the first Express Entry round for September. It follows a series of draws held in August, including a healthcare and social services category-based draw on August 19, a PNP draw on August 18, and a French-language proficiency draw on August 8.
So far this year, IRCC has issued 56,069 ITAs through Express Entry.
The majority of invitations in 2025 have been directed toward PNP candidates, while the rest were extended to applicants under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), those demonstrating French-language ability, and candidates in IRCC’s priority occupation categories.
