British Columbia Issues Entrepreneur Immigration Invitations in Latest BC PNP Draw

British Columbia has conducted another draw under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP), inviting entrepreneur candidates for provincial nomination.

The draw took place on December 16, 2025, and targeted applicants under two Entrepreneur Immigration (EI) streams: the EI Base Stream and the EI Regional Stream. As seen in previous draws this year, most invitations were issued through the Base Stream.

In total, no more than 21 invitations were issued across both streams.

The Entrepreneur Immigration category is designed for foreign nationals who plan to start a new business or purchase and operate an existing business in British Columbia. Program requirements vary by stream and may include minimum net worth, investment levels, and ownership percentages.

  • The EI Base Stream is intended for entrepreneurs planning to operate a business anywhere in British Columbia and requires a minimum score of 115.
  • The EI Regional Stream targets entrepreneurs planning to establish businesses in smaller participating communities and requires a minimum score of 105.

Under both streams, candidates must create at least one full-time job for a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

British Columbia currently plans to use its full 6,214 nomination allocation by the end of the year, following two increases granted by the federal government.
