Invitations are Issued by 3 Prominent Provinces in the Latest Provincial Nominee Programs Draws

In Canada, invitations are issued by 3 prominent provinces in the latest Provincial Nominee programs draws.

Manitoba, Ontario, and British Columbia invited candidates through their most current rounds of provincial nominee program (PNP) draws. Except for Nunavut and Quebec, most of the Canadian territories and provinces operate their PNPS. For provincial nomination, interested candidates may be invited to apply through these programs. For getting the permanent residence, it can be beneficial to receive a provincial nomination.

The immigration programs of Quebec are distinct from Canada’s other immigration programs and are administered by the province. Every year, 105,000 PR admissions are accounted for by the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). The yearly PNP admissions have increased gradually since its beginning in 1998. For both federal and provincial governments, PNP is considered an effective tool to promote economic development outside of urban centers.

Provincial Immigration Results from January 22-27

 Manitoba

Through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program conducted on January 26, invitations were issued to 336 candidates. A baseline of criteria specific to the program must be met by the candidate to receive an invitation.

  • In the Skilled Workers Overseas category, 23 invitations were issued to the candidates with a minimum score of 713.
  • To Skilled Workers in Manitoba, 253 invitations were issued with a minimum score of 713.

As it was a general draw, targeted occupations were not there. To receive an invitation, the candidate requires a minimum score of 82.

This stream is for international students with a job offer in a skilled occupation. The job which is offered must be listed in skilled occupation at Training, Education, Experience, and Responsibilities (TEER) category 0, 1, 2, or 3 of the National Occupational Classification (NOC). Through the Master’s Graduate stream on January 25, 692 candidates were also invited by Ontario where the cut-off score was 44.

To be eligible for the stream, a baseline of criteria must be met by the candidate, such as the following:
