The government of New Brunswick has issued 622 invitations to immigration candidates in a series of draws held between March 3 and March 6, 2026.
The invitations were issued through several pathways of the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP) as well as the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP).
The draws targeted candidates with work experience in key sectors including healthcare, education, construction trades, transportation, manufacturing, and professional occupations.
All Expressions of Interest (EOIs) considered in these draws were submitted before March 2, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Atlantic Standard Time.
The majority of invitations were issued through the New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream, which accounted for 279 invitations, representing approximately 45% of the total selections.

The Skilled Worker Stream is intended for foreign nationals who either currently work in New Brunswick or have a valid job offer from an eligible employer in the province.

New Brunswick also issued 189 invitations through the Strategic Initiative Stream, which focuses on attracting French-speaking immigrants to the province.

This stream aims to support the growth of Francophone communities across New Brunswick by attracting skilled French-speaking workers who have connections to the province.
A smaller portion of invitations was issued through the New Brunswick Express Entry Stream, with 29 candidates invited.
Selections were made through the Employment in New Brunswick pathway, targeting candidates employed in sectors similar to those selected under the Skilled Worker Stream.
This pathway is aligned with the federal Express Entry system and is designed for skilled workers who already have an active Express Entry profile.
