Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program has held its biggest provincial immigration draw of the year, issuing 906 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) on May 7.
The draw targeted candidates under Manitoba’s Skilled Worker Stream, particularly those working in education occupations and individuals selected through strategic recruitment initiatives.
This was the province’s ninth invitation round of 2026.
The 906 invitations were issued through two primary categories:

A total of 326 invited candidates also declared valid Express Entry profile numbers and job seeker validation codes.
Most invitations under the strategic recruitment category were issued to candidates benefiting from Manitoba’s Temporary Public Policy (TPP) work permit initiative.

The province recently confirmed it would continue prioritizing individuals who received Manitoba work permit support letters under the temporary policy.
Manitoba also invited 431 workers currently employed in education occupations across the province.
Eligible occupations included teachers, teacher assistants and early childhood educators.
Only candidates meeting all Skilled Worker in Manitoba requirements and actively employed in qualifying occupations received invitations.
The province has an allocation of 6,239 nominations for 2026.
