Manitoba Issues 63 Invitations Under Skilled Worker Stream in Latest MPNP Draw

Manitoba has issued 63 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) under the Skilled Worker Stream. The draw was conducted on December 18, 2025.

Invitations were issued to candidates under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba and Skilled Worker Overseas pathways who declared they were directly invited by the MPNP as part of a strategic recruitment initiative.

MPNP Draw Results by Recruitment Category

The 63 invitations were distributed as follows:

  • Employer Services: 10
  • Francophone Community: 27
  • Regional Communities: 5
  • Temporary Public Policy (TPP): 21

Among the invited candidates, eight individuals reported having a valid Express Entry profile.

Why Some Candidates May Not Have Been Invited

The MPNP noted that candidates who met the selection criteria but were not issued an invitation may have:

  • Provided an invalid or expired language test number in their Expression of Interest; or
  • Failed to enter a valid strategic recruitment invitation number.

About the Recruitment Categories

Manitoba’s strategic recruitment initiatives are designed to support employer retention, strengthen Francophone immigration, address regional labour needs outside Winnipeg, and facilitate work permits under temporary federal public policies.

Manitoba confirmed that it stopped accepting new work permit support letter submissions after December 16, 2025, under the temporary public policy.
